After years of basic yet boring sheer pink, color is making a comebak. Dark hues like super trendy black or semi-opaque nude can be tricky to pull off. Here the tips for finding your most flattering shade.
If you have yellow or olive skin
You should try true red, like Bourjois So Laque Rouge Escarpin, Chanel Rouge Star or any other brand names that similar shade.
For modern interpretation, file nails round. As with all saturated shades, stick to a short length, about a quarter of an inch beyond skin.
If you have fair skin
You may choose a dark plum, black or burgundy shade, such as Essie Clutch Me If You Can. Apply to very short nails (no more than an eighth of an inch past your nail bed) with a round or soft square shape.
If you have dark skin
Your perfect pick is semi-opaque honey and dove-gray shades, such as Sally Hansen Diamond Strength No chip Nail Color in Spun Honey. Complement the color with a rounded square shape.
