Perfectly Fine Not to Do

TipsWe all hear people telling what we should do, but what about things for which it's perfectly fine not to do.

Like, organize your photographs. Got a pen? Got a box? Write 'pictures' on the top and go do something fun.

Or what do you think having a second date with a man just because your friends think you should 'give it a chance', when the first date already proved spending time with him is less fun than waiting at the dentist.

Another good waist of time is pretending to want to be the boss when you're extremely happy with the job you have now, thanks.

Hmm, worry about why your friend didn't answer your email. Maybe it got lost. Maybe she forget. Hell, maybe she even hates you. But instead of obsessing, send her another one - or, better yet, give her a call and ask what's up.

Send written invitations. Unless we're talking wedding, handwriting them is time-consuming and expensive and can give you repetitive strain injury. Dash off an 'e-vite' or make a few calls.

Write on a blog, or read a blog, other then this blog, joking

Another good waist of time is fixate on pedicures. Necessary only if you're wearing sandals in the vicinity of people who will be spending a lot of time within six inches of your toenails.

Weight yourself, over and over, your clothing can tell you the same truth, but then a bit more gently.

Spend any amount of time pondering how things might have been. Move forward, the past is the past, next opportunities are just around the corner soldier.

Doing anything just because "it's always been done that way". And as last reading this article, as this was totally a waist of time...
